Team Joi consists of experienced startup professionals and entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, all
sharing the same mission of making the yummiest plant-based Vietnamese food for your boost of
happiness.
In addition to our Vegetarian Café Restaurant, we also provide meeting rooms and coworking space,
hotel accommodation, and adventure experiences throughout Vietnam...a fully integrated hospitality
experience.

Report to: Restaurant Manager
The opportunity...
We are looking for a Joi Host (full-time) to join our F&B Team. As a Joi Host, you will work
together with our F&B Team to take care of our guests, from offline to online, from café to dining
experiences, as well as workshops and events on-site.

What can you expect to be doing...
● Create a positive first impression for guests visiting Joi with greetings, parking directions, and
seatings.
● Manage orders of food and drinks carefully and serve the right food and drink to guests
● Delivers excellent guest experience through clear communication, positive attitude, and
always on time.
● Follow up on any education and training requirements in compliance with safety regulations
● Take orders and serve beverages and food/ pastry items
● Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations when appropriate
● Collaborate with other functions to provide the most "joiful" guest experience possible.

● A heart for hospitality and good taste for Vietnamese vegetarian food.
● Strong guest experience and communication skills
● Basic cooking skills and knowledge of food safety are a plus
● Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
● Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
● Ability to collaborate with a diverse team while also able to work independently
● An open mind and an ability to learn quickly
● Absolute integrity and ruthless persistence, because that’s the foundation for fun to begin.
● Must love dogs; and English proficiency is preferable
